In Home Respite
In-home services provides:

The flexibility for the caregivers to take their break within the home or get away for a time to run errands or re-energize

familiar surroundings for care recipients allowing for comfortability and safety. As well as maintaining family routines and relationships.

specialized for those with mobility issue to receive personal hygiene services, socialization and a change of pace.

an opportunity for the respite worker to be able to perform some housekeeping/ personal care tasks such as bathing, hair washing/cutting, shaving, oral hygiene and nail care. continence management – toileting, catheter/stoma care, trach/G-tube maintenance, skin care, incontinence laundry and bed changing/ repositioning.
Virtual Respite
Virtual Respite is ideal for providing:

Company for those who are high risk, can not leave the home or prefer virtual.

Anyone looking for a safe way for the care recipient to receive all the benefits of respite without the risk of the current state of covid -19
-
an opportunity for socializing and building relationships. It is helpful to those who have social anxiety or issues with overstimulation in public spaces.

Exploring hobbies

Social Art time/ Music time/ Storytime
Attendance at Special Events
We will accompany care recipients to any events with or without the caregivers:

Events include but are not limited to-personal celebrations (birthdays, weddings), corporate gatherings, community happenings (festivals, charity banquet) and cultural/leisure activities ( practices, classes, church)

Disability Advocacy
We assist with:

Understanding, completing and submitting funding applications

Identifying appropriate resources for the care recipient

Accompanying to doctors appointments and meetings to advocate for recipients treatment/needs

Developing a person centered plan (PCP) geared towards the recipients wants and needs.
Saturday Socials
Saturday Socials are ideal for:

Small-group community outings designed for individuals with developmental disabilities

Engaging, fun activities that promote social interaction and inclusion

Focus on building social skills and enhancing community safety awareness

Opportunities to develop independence and everyday life skills

Supportive, structured, and safe environment tailored to each participant’s needs

Encourages confidence, personal growth, and meaningful community participation
Out of Home Respite
Out of Home service provides:

a change of routine for the care recipient and the opportunity to socialize and develop other relationships that can promote independence
-
time for caregivers to concentrate on other family matters and activities without the distraction of caregiving tasks.

Explorative opportunities for care recipient such day trips, walks and car rides.
-
Assistance for appointments.

Accompaniment for day programs.
